Departure by boat from Molo Beverello for Ischia. Visit to the Archaeological Museum at Villa Arbusto tracing the history of the island from pre-history to Roman times and housing important remains from the settlement of Pithecusae, built by the Greeks in 770 B.C. Lunch at a typical restaurant and visit to the Aragonese Castle, a Byzantine fortress converted in the 15th century by the Aragon family and located in the ancient sea-town of Ischia Ponte. Return to Naples in the evening.

Departure by hydrofoil/ferry from Molo Beverello in Naples to the island of Capri and arrival at Marina Grande. Optional trip to the famous Blue Grotto. Sightseeing tour by minibus and walk around the famous Square and Gardens of Augustus. Lunch at a local restaurant, then visit to the Faraglioni rocks. Before boarding the boat to return, there will be time to discover the hidden corners and splendid views of what many believe to be the most beautiful island in the world. Return to Naples.

 Transfer from Naples to Pompeii, destroyed by the volcanic eruption of 79 BC and preserved by the ashes. Visit to the excavations and departure for Sorrento to admire the old city centre and the splendid, world-famous view. After lunch, departure for Amalfi, stopping on the way at the charming white Positano and the majolica dome of the parish church, Santa Maria Assunta. Pleasant trip along one of the most spectacular coastal roads in the world. At Amalfi, visit to the magnificent mediaeval Cathedral dominating the square below the high stairway.

 Departure by coach or minibus from Molo Beverello in Naples to visit the church of Gesù Nuovo, covered entirely in marble, stucco and frescoes. Visit to the Convent of Santa Chiara; especially noteworthy are the fragments of frescoes by Giotto in the Nuns’ Choir and the majolica decorated cloister. Continue to the church of San Domenico Maggiore, the Chapel of San Severo, the catacombs San Gregorio Armeno and the Cathedral with the treasury of San Gennaro. In Via del Duomo, stop to taste the Neapolitan sfogliatelle (flaky pastry cakes) which is a must. After lunch, sightseeing tour of the town and departure for Pozzuoli to admire the extraordinary sulphur geysers of volcanic origin.
